Mr. Nuwan Wijayasinghe - Chairman

Deshamanya Nuwan Wijayasinghe is the Co-Founder of Heritance Tea & Helarata Ayurveda (Pvt) Ltd and currently serves as the Chairman/ Managing Director of the company. Nuwan commenced his carrier as a trainee planter in 2003 and has been in the tea manufacturing industry for the last 18 years. He has proficient experience in the prestigious plantation companies and estates while he had gained diverse exposure, and excelled in his performance and competencies in the industry of tea, both locally and internationally. Nuwan holds a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the U.K University and is also a fellow member of the Charted Institute of Personnel Management. Nuwan is a product of St/Sylvester’s College, Kandy, and exhibited exceptional accomplishments in sports during school. Nuwan's exemplary knowledge and experience in the trade and the capacity in recognizing the demand for quality Ceylon tea in both local and foreign markets had created successful ventures. He is a sound leader in the trade and believes in empowering people for career progress. The prime goal of Heritance Tea & Helarata Ayurveda (Pvt) Ltd is to expand the brand name internationally through exports while strengthening the local operations and distribution. “Ceylon Herbal Green Tea” is the core product whereas equal preference is given to other Ceylon tea Products as well.
